Men’s Ministries, is a branch stemming from the local church, and has partnered with Single Moms Raising Sons, through our Men Molding Men initiative. We have identified children’s homes in our local area, where we get to visit on a monthly basis. These visits consist of sporting activities, grooming sessions,mentorship talks and overall interaction with the children. Most of these children are victims of abuse and abandonment, a byproduct of the negative ills of our society. Our monthly visits are targeted at teaching the children basic life lessons, and positively impacting them through our mentorship programs. All of these visits are carefully monitored and our impact measured.
Working with various commercial partners, we are able to carry out these activities. In cases where extra funding is needed SMRS will look to raise funds.
It is said, sometimes it only takes one act of kindness and caring to change a person’s life, it is our hope that long after the effects of our actions, our deeds of kindness will make a meaningful difference in the lives of these precious children.
